i normally just apply it with my fingers and i think it works well like that. i have sometimes used a makeup sponge to apply it (just a regular cheap one) and that worked ok too, but i didnt think it was really nessecary.

Best applicator would be your fingertips. Maybelline dream matte mousse is very soft and light and it's should perfect spread on your face with your fingers. It can ';snarl'; if you use applicator.
I use my fingertips when applying mousse foundation.
