What do you think of the new stiletto mascara from maybelline?
I really like the mascara because it is great for lengthening but not for volume. If you want a mascara that does both try maybelline lash blast or sephora brand lash plumper.What do you think of the new stiletto mascara from maybelline?
I think the mascara isn't all it claims to be.
I mean really, it doesn't do anything that a regular mascara doesn't.
You are better off getting one that has better reviews.
The only reason I don't like this mascara is because it doesn't give my lashes enough volume. It kind of just lengthens. But if that is what you want, lengthened eyelashes, then go for it, but I like volume and no clumps.
Although the packaging is really cool (: Essentially, that is what you are paying for, the packaging, because the wand and the mascara itself aren't that goos, especially compared to the mascaras made by the same company that I have listed below.
I would suggest Maybelline Collassal or Telescopic.

You can get it at Walmart. and yes that is what i use. unlike other eyeliners, this one doesn't sweat off or smear, i like it a lot! its not expensive. i dont know the exact price..

I would say either Tawny which is 165 or toasted almond which is 170. Tawny has more of a pinkish tone which is what the carmel looks like it has to it that you wear now.
Try going to covergirl's website and click on that foundation that you want and then try the colormatch thing and it will actually suggest the shades that are right for you.

Are the maybelline dream-mousse eyeshadows good or do they crease?
i love most of the dream-mousse makeup.... the foundation, the bronzer, the shimmer, and the blusher. i wana buy one of the eyeshadows but am worried it will crease with it being cream eyeshadow. have u tried it and if so is it good?Are the maybelline dream-mousse eyeshadows good or do they crease?
That really depends on a few things:
A. If you use a primer, which is an eye make up base (Mac, Urban Decay and there's a drugstore substitute by L'Oreal). Having spread that all over your lid and brow area, what it does is provide a base for the make up to ';stick'; to, that way it doesn't crease as easily.
B. If you've got oily lids. When you wake up from sleep, are your lids oily, for example? If you do have oily lids, any eyeshadow will crease, really.
C. How your lid is shaped. Personally, the majority of my lid turns into a crease when I open my eyes, so that if I'm wearing certain kinds of eyeliner, it will blot on my lid. If when you open your eyes, the crease isn't as big and there's plenty of space between your lashline and your crease, then it might be a good idea.
But again, all problems can be solved with a primer, to be honest. They may not be very cheap, but they're a good investment as they enhance the look of anything you put on your eye by providing grounds for it to stick, making it last longer and providing a more opaque and even background so the color is more vibrant.Are the maybelline dream-mousse eyeshadows good or do they crease?

well, they're alright. they're very light, creamy and shimmery. the colour payoff isn't too great, but then it doesn't look extremely pigmented in the pot anyway.
they do crease if you put too much on, and it's quite easy to end up putting too much bcuz the shimmer is really nice,
although - i haven't tried it with a decent base e.g- udpp, tfsi.
so you might never have a problem with creasing. but if you use a decent amount and don't pile it on especially in your crease-kindof-area, you should be fine.

Please ignore any of the above answers...avoid using your finger at all cost...the only time that it is OK to use it is when applying a primer to your eye lid. There is oil on your fingers, and there always will be. Applying foundation with your fingers causes the oil to clog your pores there for resulting in a break out. Sponges are a load of crap! They gather bacteria very quickly and absorb too much foundation (yes it helps a little when wetting it slightly but not by much) if you have to use a sponge throw it away after 2 uses at most.
Use a foundation or stippling brush for applying this foundation.What to use with maybelline Dream Matte Mousse?

I would definitely recommend the dream matte mousse foundation, it feels really soft and creamy and is easy to blend, it has good coverage too, but i wouldn't recommend the eye shadow, it tends to crease and is hard to be precise as you have to smudge it (bad if you've got bright Colors) but lovely if you have shimmery creams or pale colors. As for the blush, it is smooth and creamy like the foundation, but can clog a bit, i use a powder blush instead!

But anyway, I think it's great. I have acne prone skin and it doesn't mess with my skin at all. It is lightweight coverage, and I think that it blends well. Now that is just the foundation. The eyeshadow that I have does not work very well in my opinion, but that may be because I got it at Big Lots and it could have been old. I just rarely use it. The blush sounds like it might work well, but I have yet to try it. If anything, give the foundation a try.

seriously, it even covered my blue veins which is saying something because no concealer ive tried can cover them but the dream matte mouse did! and it blends really easily and leaves your skin feeling so soft. they have a huge range of colours so there will be a shade out there for you somewhere! anyway i definately recommend it and its not that expensive either. for the people that said it clogs your pores, i dont know if it does or not because ive only just started wearing it. hopefully it doesnt start clogging mine-i have enough spots already!

definitely not. something that clogs your pores should not be for every day use. go to a nice brand and make the investment for products that won't screw up your skin. =] dior, chanel, mac, urban decay, este lauder...have one of the specialists at the counter give you a consult to find the perfect make-up for your skin type.

I recommend Almay Smart Shade for a few reasons.
1. Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse is not oil-free, non-comedogenic, or non-acnegenic. So, you could break out from it.
2. Almay Smart Shade is supposed to be hypoallergenic (although it's just a label some companies put that on there, but I've read a few articles about Almay's makeup and I am convinced that this is legit)
3. If you are against animal testing (honestly, I'm neutral to the debate), Almay is the way to go. It's one of the few drugstore brands that doesn't test on animals.
4. Almay Smart Shade has SPF 15, Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse has no SPF (which is good if you're allergic to certain SPF ingredients, but I don't personally know anybody who is)
5. The only con about Almay Smart Shade is that it has sheer coverage (which is why it ';transforms'; into your ideal shade... it's too sheer to be the wrong shade).
I recommend you try the Almay, and if you can find it in a package with the concealer as a bonus, get that. I've seen them at Target, Walmart, and Ulta.

I don't know if it's oil free. Read the ingredients. It has a beautiful finish. You must put a moisturizer underneith it. Even if you don't wear foundation, always wear moisturizer. If you are young, it is good for you to wear moisturizer as a preventive measure against wrinkles

However, the only negative point that I would say is taking it off. You need a decent eye make up remover to take it off! You'll be surprised by how much you are really wearing when you remove it. I miss the Maybelline ';Great Wear'; Concealer - Anyone know any products similar to this?
I miss this product so much and I've tried so many other products trying to find something I like as much, can anyone reccomend me a similar brand?

i dunno whether that consealer is for spots or under eyes or what as never tried it or heard of it.. but i use YSL Touch eclat an it works wonders under eyes and use Laura Mercier Secret camouflage if have spots, but i did have to order the laura mercier stuff on the internet as only sell at harrods in uk!. they are both more expensive than maybelline products but i think more expensive stuff works better than the cheaper brands, have better ingredients in them for ur skin i guess. test these prosucts in the shops and c if u like them. i think they are good an worth the money tho. x x

I absolutely love it! I used to use this expensive clinique mascara, but the lash stiletto mascara works so much better! my lashes are ridiculously long after just one coat. I got mine for about $5 at target. I was hesitant to buy it since i couldn't test it, but trust me it works so easily it does all the work for you.

Don't, it's a waste of money. If you want a fuller lash go with Lash blast, it works wonders. Lash stiletto clumps your eyelashes and weighs them down so they don't look full and high at all. I would not recommend this mascara to anyone.

I absolutely love it! I used to use this expensive clinique mascara, but the lash stiletto mascara works so much better! my lashes are ridiculously long after just one coat. I got mine for about $5 at target. I was hesitant to buy it since i couldn't test it, but trust me it works so easily it does all the work for you.
Buy it, you really won't regret it
Don't, it's a waste of money. If you want a fuller lash go with Lash blast, it works wonders. Lash stiletto clumps your eyelashes and weighs them down so they don't look full and high at all. I would not recommend this mascara to anyone.

What do you think of Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation?
I bought it about a week ago and at first I thought it was great. Good coverage, perfect color. But then about two days ago after wearing it every day, I woke up with a HUGE breakout on my chin. And my skin is usually clear, so I know it had to do with this makeup. This was my first liquid foundation, I think I'll stick with powder now. So what did you think of it? Did it break you out? Everybodies face is different but for me it will last about 6 hrs without light powder on top. After that, I have to reapply in certain areas, like my chin, nose, and cheeks.

How do you get this stuff off your lips, other than scraping your fingernail across it? Is there any kind of removal product for it? Maybe some home remedy. Anything. I love it! It is smooth, it moisturizes, and the color is so rich without being heavy...and it gives my lips a sort of ';glow';. However, it doesn't appear to really last any longer than the average maybelline. I have the Madison Mauve and I am so glad I found it.

do NOT use maybelline XXL, it is sooo clumpy, and although when you first apply it it looks good, after a couple hours, the white end starts showing up again, for some odd reason. i loved it when i first got it, but my friends started telling me on nights out that my eyelashes looked white. it is really frustrating, and then i started noticing how clumpy it is. i have tried all three kinds.
p.s. maybelline great lash is also awful, all the makeup blogs say so, even though it used to be a ';makeup bag staple';

I've been using Max factor Colour Adapt for a couple of months and I love it but I'm starting to run out and I don't know whether to continue with Colour Adapt or to try Dream Satin Liquid.

It really does look poreless, it goes on like a dream, and lasts all day. Im normally really critical of foundations :P

I don't like the dream matte mousse either, but the maybelline satin liquid foundation is a whole lot different, i use it all the time. It makes your skin really soft, if your not sure buy a small amount and test it out on you. Give it a go i know you'll love it! x

I like to use it because of the mousse textrure (too liquidy fills my pores and makes them really obvious). I put on moisturiser before i use the foundaiton is this good or bad for skin? But the foundation comes off quickly and i think triggerrs more spots?

The reason why it triggers spots is because of the mousse texture this is more likely to block your pores up then a liquid Or powder. I have Stopped using my dream matte mousse now because if you have the tiniest bit of dry skin it shows up the most (i know this because my friend went through it)
Now i use MAC Foundation now and i'm very pleased with it, i bought it last weekend from harvey nichols and it lasts all day and it had a spf of 15 which protects your skin from the sun.

i have a really oily t-zone and dry cheeks and i find it just makes me break out on m t-zone and makes my cheeks look all flakey and powdery. if you want a mouse still a really good one i've used is no 7 intelligent balance mousse foundation at boots. you could try using a face primer before which just makes like a smooth base instead of foundation and you could try a liquid foundation with that because it makes like a barrier between your pores so it won't look bad. you could also try like a compact foundation, like benefit some kind of gorgeous that's good. it's like a cream to powder texture.
A lot of foundation can cause spots because a lot of them are oil based.
I used to like the maybeline dream matte mouse too but I agree it doesn't last long however it isn't bad for your skin, unless you sleep in it but same goes for all makeup :).

--It gets on EVERYTHING it touches. I don't mind it fading, everything fades eventually, but this is too much. It got on my BF's shirt after we hug, it got on my finger which transferred to my paper, it got on my clothes, EVERYTHING!! ARRRG!
Oh, HECK NO!! Never again! I returned the ones I got and I rarely do that. The best thing I love about this is the packaging and how well it matched my skin. I would go with the Maybelline, Max Factor, and Cover Girl. Neutrogena %26amp; Revlon are a little more expensive and I've noticed that they're geared a little bit towards older women. To me, the quality of Rimmel isn't as good as Maybelline, Cover Girl, and Max Factor.
Those three have great colors, a pretty wide variety.
My preference for mascara is either the Volume Couture by Max Factor, or Lash Stilleto/ Volume Express by Maybelline. For foundation, I like the mineral powder by Maybelline. For eye shadows %26amp; lip gloss they all have great colors. Blush I like Maybelline.
Since you're strawberry blonde, stay away from blue eye shadows. Avoid pinkish tone foundations, they'll make you look too rosey. For blush, a light natural pink with warm tones is best since you're fair (I'm really fair too and light pink works the best). For eyeshadow, natural colors like champagne are great (I like the shimmery ones).

NOT Maybelline! Excuse my language, but that makeup is literally crap! It just falls all over the place and smudges and clumps. Is it okay if i mix them up? Covergirl is great, Neutrogena works rlly well, and revlon is bomb! Hope it helped!

I know this sounds reidiculous. But I bought this eye liner and I've tried everything to make the liner come out of the plastic part but it doesnt. You can't twist it or anything I dont know how to get it out. I have that one and I know it is alittle tight but I've never had that much trouble to remove the cap. Try wrapping a rubberband on the top and twist. This will give you more friction and grip.

I've never tried the Maybelline products but to the second part of your question, my friend has really oily skin and she uses Physicians Formula products. They work really well being from all natural products.

I apply mine with a medium sized brush. It's quicker this way and it doesn't pick up too much foundation. Usually I just use my blush brush to apply, and then in redder areas I tap my fingers on to pat some more foundation on more more coverage.

What the best way to apply Maybelline pure mineral liquid foundation?
I've never applied liquid foundation or foundation by my self. I have no idea what to do or how to apply it or what with.What the best way to apply Maybelline pure mineral liquid foundation?
try applying some make up base or good moisturiser first then for liquid foundation apply a bit to a make up sponge (usually get 6 in a pack) and apply to the face ensuring you spread evenly. Make sure u do this in the right light and lift your head to ensure you get along the jaw line and top part of the neck so you dont end up with those awful streaks. If you have dark areas around the eyes use a concealer and blend with the finger tips.
Another good foundation is the small jars of mousse foundation i.e. Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation or Avon do a good one also. they are good for all skin types and can be applied with a foundation brush.
