Which is better mascara Covergirl lash blast or Maybelline Lash Stiletto mascara?

I've tried both, and the CoverGirl Lash Blast is much better.





It is cheap, comes with A LOT of product, non-clumpy, and makes your lashes amazing! The only thing that most people (including myself) don't like about the Lash Blast is that the tube is so big and fat, that it is a bit uncomfortable to hold, but thats about it.





There is also a Lash Blast Luxe (in case you don't know), and it comes in a big red tube (versus the regular Lash Blast that comes in an orange tube), and it has little flecks of blue glitter in it.

I prefer the Maybelline Lash Stiletto because you need less coats for a better look than Lash Blast and if you don't have long or thick eyelashes (like me) it serves a better purpose. Lash Stylist is the best by Maybelline, I find, because the comb thickens and elongates, but not in the way that the spikes do on Lash Blast. OMG. DEFINITELY, get lash stiletto. It's soo amazing! It gives me the lashes i've always wanted without nasty fake lashes. it's completely clump free and makes them sooo long. it's my favourite mascara :D I take it wherever i go. it's long lasting and idk when i first used it i was just like .... Finallyyyy! A mascara that works!
I use Covergirl Lashblast and it gives the perfect soft, separated look. It enhances my lashes. If you're going for volume and everyday look, go for Lashblast and if you want a lot of length go for lash stiletto.
I use Covergirl lash blast and it works really good. It doesnt make your eyelashes clumpy either. Go with Covergirl!
i would use the stiletto because the covergirl lash blast is a tad flacky.

It does make you look airbrushed ( i use light porceline due to being very fair ) but does give off a slight oily tint but nothing too drastic.... looks fantastic when you use black eyeliner and mascara :)

I used to use it.. its medium coverage and kind of greasy (Id put on powder and be shiny in less than 30 min) They do have really great colors though. if youre breaking out you may want to go with something lighter like a mineral foundation or tinted moisturizer. ps Cliniques Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel is 24 bux at Sephora for a huge bottle and really helps to moisturize acne prone skin. :)

I don't know about this makeup, but I do know of a couple of other excellent products out there if you have oily skin.





Revlon Colorstay Stay Natural Makeup SPF 15 (inexpensive) and Maybelline EverFresh Makeup SPF 14 (also inexpensive) are both great choices.





These will hold well and not slide off as the day goes on. They are harder to work with, though; they dry quickly, so you have to work them in right away. It just takes a bit of practice. But once you get the hang of it, these are very good foundations for oily skin, contain no irritating ingredients, and have good colour selections. I personally use the Revlon Colourstay and have had great results.

Which shade is better for you depends on your skin undertones. From what I see, Porcelain Ivory has more of a pinkish undertone, whereas the Light Ivory has more of a yellow undertone. Yes maybelline is better, I don't really like wet and wild, it's cheaper for a reason. But I use dream matte mouse from maybelline, its not a liquid but not a power, more of a mousse. I love it.

My skin is quite oily, but someone still said dream matte mousse would be good. I've used it for ages now, but lately like, on places like my nose, after a while it feels greasy and wipes off really easily.


I like the foundation so i don't really want to change,

Urgh I hate that stuff. It manages to melt and go dry and flakey all at the same time.


But like most liquid-y foundations you need to use a setting powder afterwards, so it doesn't melt. Maybelline actually do a pretty good one. Translucent is normally used, but you can use whatever colour really.


I like their mineral foundation though. Its not too expensive either.
I use dream matte mousse in porcelain and i dont have oily skin but very pale, clear skin. I used to have that problem but then i started putting a little bit of powder/blusher on top of the foundation which actually keeps it exactlyright for the whole day! x


I love dream matte mousse and will never stop using it coz its so light and blends really well! =)

Yeah like others said I would try a translucent powder. Bare minerals is good brand for that its only about $19 in the US and lasts a long time.





I havent really heard that great of things about Dream Matte Mousse. Some of my friends had problems with the foundation too.





I do love their blush and eyeshadows though-Im obsessed!
I used that same makeup for over a year and found that it helps if you use a translucent powder over the top of it to ';set'; it so it doesn't melt. The cheapest brand is NYC, and it works just fine. If necessary, carry around a powder makeup to use throughout the day to keep it nice.

I have fairly oily skin, too, but I've never run into that problem.





Maybe a little loose translucent powder over top will fix your problem?


Or a primer made for oily skin underneath? (I'm pretty sure Smashbox makes a really good one, it's what my mom uses)
use a primer underneath, it will help it stick to your skin and last longer.


also you could try putting an oil control lotion underneath MAC makes a good one.

You can use a loose powder after applying your make up, this gives a matte look and sets your make-up.

Hi I used it when it first came out and I didnt think much off it at all, it didnt seem to cover anything, and even though its suppose to be for combination skin moisturising the dry areas I found it made the dry areas more drier and the oily areas more oily because of the moisturisers in it, all it did with me is make my skin break out in spots and it didnt blend in well either.





However I found the avons personal match mousse to be much better and the coverage is fantastic and it stay put all day and is the same price What does everyone think of Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation?
I have dry sensitive skin and find it drys my skin out even more and is impossible to get even coverage. I prefer Lancome, Clarins or Chanel.





I'm european and have been told that our skin is a different texture to Americans. I'm not sure if I believe that but have been told this by beauticians on both sides of the pond.

Not at all impressed with it. Doesn't stay on all day, doesn't feel nice and looks cheap. I only got it cos it was cheap and I was totally skint and couldn't afford proper foundation, used it for a couple of days then gave it away it was so rubbish x x
it is a really good foundation, it blends easily and suits skin tones well.


however it can be very drying to the skin so mix with a mouisturiser and then apply!

Though not a fan of this brand I bought the matte mousse foundation once and I actually found it went on great. The texture was lovely. However, it didn't STAY on all day.

yes it works well because it is light weight and blends well just make sure to get a color that matches your skin as close as possible. start with a very light color and if it is too light just go one shade darker. but yes the foundation should work for you very well. if not let me know and i will have other ideas for foundation you should get. good luck i hope this helps :)

It looks super natural, is good for your skin cuze it doesn't clog your pores, and feels nice...its not all cakey. It really looks like you aren't wearing make up at all! For real! Ohh and it doesn't wipe off easily (unless u wash it), but it stays on good when you sweat or work out or something

I wonder that too. Maybe people like it better because its more popular than the other mineral makeup out there. I've tried it and i liked it. But now i'm currently using Sheer Cover and i love it, and it's cheaper too (:
Bare Minerals using finer quality minerals than does Maybelline. Maybelline, to sell it at a lesser price does not refine their minerals as much. Sheer Cover has similiar quality products to Bare Minerals. I would not suggest mineral makeup if you need a lot of coverage. There has also been many scientific articles stating the mineral makeups are bad for you because you tend to inhale them as you're wearing them because the minerals are so fine.

Before getting into mac, i got natural ivory in maybelline and it made my face a bit pink and alittle lighter, and i looked into the medium shades, but i'm not sure which ones i'm in. the color chart doesn't really help either.

yeah ive used it. honestly i didnt like it, i didnt like the coverage it gave, it was minum coverage.


and i also noticed that if i applied it more than twice in one day, like reapply it, cause i have oily skin, it got really cakey and didnt look good. also i noticed that alot of the product was wasted cause it would fall off the brush or out of the pot.


one thing i liked about it was my face felt really soft.

it looked like my skin, and better than anything. The only problem was, since is went deep into my pores, they became clogged, and resulted in tiny pimples, this didn't happen to only me. i dont use it anymore though, but i have really sensitive skin.

I used to use it for a long time. I liked how it covered and it lasts all day (unless you get completely wet!). However, I recently started selling AVON and, of course, decided if I am going to sell it then I have to at least try their product. I actually like it better than the Maybelline! Plus, since AVON is always running specials on it, it comes out cheaper than the store brands and MUCH cheaper than Mary Kay (about half).
