What is the effect of the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse?

is it supposed to make your skin look flawless or what?

and what coverage does it have?

thank you girls! What is the effect of the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse?
Its to give a more smoother, matte finish. It's also meant to look sutble, but that's depending on how much you use. It's mousey texture gives you great converage, and very easy to apply (id use the hand prefrably.) It also works great for evening out uneven skin tone.

Only downside I find is it rubs off easily, eg. hugging/cuddling with someone, there bound to be left with a beige mark somewhere on the clothing, but I suppose that too depends on how much you wear.

Great foundation, definitly reccomend it as a 9/10! Best foundation I ave used, Iv also found a cheaper version called ESSENCE mouse make up. Does the same thing for a much cheaper price, but Maybelline has a much wider range of colours for the skin tone. Essence just has 1,2 and 3.What is the effect of the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse?
In my opinion...It covers really well. But by the end of the day it doesn't stay on my face. It definately covers my face well...but if you want ur skin to look dewy lol...I think Meybelline's Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Liquid foundation works better for that. The mousse makes my face look dull in my opinion.
I have it it is just thicker for more coverage(red cheeks, acne, scars etc.)

If you dont want to wear it on its own it works great under your normal foundation as a concealer for problem areas.
it is light and has great coverage. i don't like to use foundation but I used a lot of that for my prom and made my skin great
it worked really good for me but u could still see some pimples and it made me breakout more i use the powder stuff thats supposed to be like bare essitanls and that works 190x better and now break outs
you end up looking chalky.
it makes your skin to look more natural but its quite oily

  • Funny taste in my mouth from Maybelline lipstick?

I am using Maybelline superstay lip color. It has one side with the color and then another side where you put gloss over the color to make it shine and stay longer. I have noticed a funny metal-like taste in my mouth since I started using it. Anyone know why this might be happening?Funny taste in my mouth from Maybelline lipstick?

What Remover to use for Maybelline Great Lash?

Hi, I've recently switched from facier mascara to good 'ole maybelline great lash. I really love it because it looks so natural and I dont have the flashing problem. My new problem is that I can not find a good eye make up remover to use at the end of the day. I end up going to bed with black under my eyes because I cant get it all off. HELP! thank you! What Remover to use for Maybelline Great Lash?
OMG yea i had the same problem (i was using the waterproof one), just couldn't find a remover.

i was using rimmel's remover which worked fine with the rest of my makeup, just not the mascara. i posted a question if u want to see some of the answers.

i tried the lotion and soap (well i used face watch) and they didn't work. but the vaseline worked. so what i do now is plop a whole bunch of vaseline on to my lashes before i shower and get as much off as possible (might need to vaseline lashes 2+ times) then after showering all the mascara's offWhat Remover to use for Maybelline Great Lash?
well, that is one of the reasons it is better to use ';better'; mascara cause it isn't a strain to remove it. now you're gonna have to spent a little more on a ';better'; eye makeup remover...

i recommend Clinique, Bliss, %26amp; Lancome

Mascara remover and baby oil works fine!
I use this one and I just wash with dove soap and water. I always wash my face twice, and I never have any residue left. If you prefer taking it off with something else try Baby Oil, it works really well. Just make sure you clean it off, it can plug up your pores-as is the same with most eye make-up remover. Hope that helps.
Wash your face with a mild soap and make sure to use warm enough water to loosen your mascara, rinse and then use a small amount of baby oil, rub over lashes and massage in, then wipe with a soft tissue until you get it all off. Works every time and less expensive than remover that doesnt always work.
Good old fashioned Vasoline works well. I use Great Lash too. I smear Vasoline on my eyes with my finger and wipe it off with a dry washcloth. Plus, it moisturizes under the eye as well.

    Good luck and Best. wishes!
    Try Clarins Instant eye make up remover. It's dual formula meaning you have to shake it first. Put a small amount on a cotton round and hold it on your closed eye for 5 seconds. Then wipe gently from the inside corner to the out side. Flip the cotton over and do it again and like magic EVEN WATERPROOF mascara is gone. I have used many and either this one or there is one in the precision line from Chanel that works almost exactly the same. They are a bit more expensive then Vaseline or Baby Oil but far better for the delicate skin around your eye. I think they are like $24. You only use a small amount and I always say... ';You get what you pay for';
I use DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

I love that product it removes my waterproof mascara very easily. It's about $24 for 6.7oz bottle

Here's where you can buy it

You can just go with a simple face scrub or cleansing pad. There are some for removing dirt that also do wonders with makeup and aren't to hard on your skin. Good Luck

Are any Cover Girl or Maybelline makeup products any good?

Or are they popular just because they are big companies?

If you think any of their products are good, please say what they are!Are any Cover Girl or Maybelline makeup products any good?
The Maybelline Matte Mousse collection of foundations, bronzers, etc is very good, except the blushes are a bit too pink for me. They smooth on like lotion, but have the coverage of powders, and are so light, so it usually doesn't look like you're wearing makeup. It just looks like you have naturally flawless skin.

Then, Maybelline's Define-a-lash is excellent. It's not the mascara formula. It's the brush. And it really doesn't clump. No lies.

As for CoverGirl, I don't use their products, so I don't know. Are any Cover Girl or Maybelline makeup products any good?
Cover Girl and Maybelline products are frequently tested on animals. They put the ingredients in rabbits eyes and because they don't have tear ducts, it's very painful and many of them suffer and die. I try really to buy cosmetics that are not tested on animals. Here's a website that shows cosmetic companies that test on animals and companies that don't.
i love cover girl powder makeup
I use quite a lot of Maybelline products. Prices are affordable, plus, they always come up with new colors and there are plenty of lovely shades to choose from. However, I feel that higher-end cosmetics (such as Estee Lauder) come out easier - as in, you can see the color on your face easily without having to apply too much.
Professional cosmetic artists often have cosmetics from CG and Maybelline in their kits right along side items from higher end brands. This is because many items like eye liner or mascara perform similar to their more expensive counterparts. Maybelline Great Lash has been known as the industry favorite for 35 years. However when it comes to ';colors'; (eye shadow, blush, lipstick) high end brands are generally better because they contain much higher amounts of pigment. You'll notice you may only need a light swipe of a Mac eye shadow...but you may need to paint on a Cover Girl shade pretty thick to get the same result. Thats the long answer to your question....the short answer is yes, CG and Maybs are very fun and good to use.
Yes, I love Maybelline products. True Illusion is a great makeup and looks great on you. Then for powder, I use ShineFree.
actually alot of their products ARE good....its not bc they are big companies....i have some eyeliner that is the BOMB and its maybelline

i have maybellines unstoppable eyeliner and it works wonders for me....just try some of their products and see if you like them.....bc in reality WE dont know what u like or your style so it would probably be best if you went and tried some of their products yourself.
The only product I have in my make up case from Maybelline is the Great Lash Mascara. I'm not a big fan of Cover Girl. It smells like noxema and covers unevenly.

I would recommend most cosmetics from estee lauder and mac.
I only use Maybelline eyeliners and mascara, I like Cover girl eye shadow, and blush and I like Loreal lip stick
Yea, they're good. I just don't like the powders and foundation and stuff because it gives me zits. If you're case is like mine, use bare minerals. It's really good.
    cover girl lash exact
cover girl cover stick works really good for an on the go quick foundation. i love all the maybelline lipsticks ( especially ice princess) and i really like the lash exact mascara. it curves with your eye lashes and never clumps.
i think maybelline great lash mascaras are really good.

    and

covergirl perfect point plus eyeliner as well as, tru blend loose powder-they are sooooooo good.
    Yes so are Almay
I love Covergirl's Clean Pressed Powder and eyeshadows and Maybelline's Great Lash mascara is my FAVORITE.
The products are all good, it just depends how you use it and how well you use it. I currently use the mascara from Maybelline and naturally my eye lashes are long and it dosnt crumple them up. its great.

Who hear recommends the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation?

I'm really tempted to buy this foundation because the mousse sounds interesting. How well do these colors match yellow-based Asian skintones? Anyone recommend it?Who hear recommends the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation?
    The color selection is okay.

I usually go to Wal-Mart because they have testers there.

the Dream Matte foundation gave me dry patches. [I have normal skin]

Maybelline just came out with Dream Liquid which is the liquid version %26amp; its amazing.

Overall I really like both.Who hear recommends the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation?
I used too use that foundation I loved it. But I have yellow undertone and it really never match my face. I think I have bought all of medium shads and never maych. altough when Im tan its a good shade. I tan easily so i use caramel or honey beige depending. but the medium color have a neutral and cool undertone.

I loved it because its so easy too put on and the mouse its so cool. and great coverage. but nmnot findinf the shade weighted more than that so i started using others.

i USE LOREAL TRUE MATCH now perfect match. You should use the warm collection have yellow undertone for asian people and for latin poeple too. I use it in natural beige. And you can buy it at walmart or target. its relatively cheap. You shouldnt put you cn open the bottle and check the color.

also has medium coverage I have some acne and it covers.

    good luck!
I've been using that foundation for a while now and i hae to say it's really good, since it's a mousse it's softer and seems to blend in more with your color so i'm sure you could find a color that suits you perfectly.
It's pretty good, the only thing I have found I had to purchase 2 different colors and blend them together to match my skin tone. Other then that I like it and it gives you good coverage and you don't need to use powder on top of it. Good Luck.
I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION! it goes on sooo smooth and it doesnt feel like your wearing makeup. the coverage is awesome too! im not sure about the color selection because ive been getting my same color.. but im sure there is one for your skin tone =)
I like it, I don't use mine very often though. I like how it's fluffy and light.

You may have to buy a shade darker though to match your skin tone.
i dont recommend it it drys out fast and since you have to put your fingers of sponge into the product its filthy
I like mine, but I heard they only work well with oil skin, which I have. If you have oil skin I would say give it a try.

What powder do you use over the top of Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation?

I feel it looks too shiny without powder and doesn't last as long as I need to keep applying it when i dont wear it with powder on the top...which powder would you recommend for this foundation??? :-)

Thanks xWhat powder do you use over the top of Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation?
You don't want to change the colour of your foundation so use a translucent matte powder in any brand. What powder do you use over the top of Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation?
I would recommend using Maybelline Dream Matte Powder. It goes with the liquid foundation, takes away the shine, and is ultra fine for superior blendabilty.

    Hope This Helps!
All powder is pretty much the same, but I use NYC's
